The Men of Powell

I want to thank those of you who attended our “Impact Day” on Wednesday, January 13, 2010. It was fantastic to see so many dads return for the second or third time. It was even more impressive to see a number of dads for the “first” time!

I do want you to know that your appearance at school sends two important messages. The message to your child is your education is important to me and I am going to support you, the teachers and the school! The second message you are sending is to the staff of the school and that is I care about my child and I care about the education my child is receiving.

You truly make my heart glad when you turn out in such fantastic numbers! This is only the beginning. I am already thinking of ways to expand your role at the school.
